1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading, installing, or using CATX Skies ("the Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

CATX Skies is a flight tracking application designed for use with flight simulation software, including:

  • Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024
  • X-Plane 11/12

The Service provides:

3. User Accounts

You retain ownership of any flight data, screenshots, or other content you create using the Service ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

5.3 Third-Party Content

The Service may include content from third parties, including:

  • Airport database information (publicly available data)
  • Map tiles from OpenStreetMap contributors
  • Flight simulation data from Microsoft and Laminar Research

IMPORTANT: CATX Skies is designed exclusively for recreational flight simulation. It is NOT suitable for, and must NOT be used for:

  • Real-world flight planning or navigation
  • Actual aircraft operation
  • Any safety-critical applications
  • Professional aviation purposes

7.3 Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party flight simulators. We are not responsible for the operation, availability, or content of these third-party products.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CATX Skies and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall NOT be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
  • Service interruption or unavailability
  • Errors or inaccuracies in content
  • Unauthorized access to your data
  • Third-party conduct or content

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.
